Your reaction???: Those with immediate reactions that include light headedness, dizziness, cramps, difficulty swallowing or breathing should carry an auto-injector device with Epinephrine for immediate use followed by a trip to the er. Desensitization therapy thru an allergist can reduce long term risk. If reaction is mild hives & local swelling, you can take benedryl & monitor the situation for changes.

Bee stings: If you have a known allergy to hornet (wasp) stings – it would be optimum for you to carry an epi-pen, ana- guard sting kit (or similar product) with you all the time. Be familiar with it's use before you need to use it. Check the expiration date- obtain new prescription if needed by your physician. Throat, airway, mouth swelling or difficulty breathing? Call 911!
