No: Sting allergies are diagnosed after a sting reaction occurs and evaluation and testing confirms the clinical suspicion. Unfortunately, we all are at risk for sting reactions even if it is the first sting. If one were to have had a sting reaction then they would be at increased reaction for sting reactions in the future.
