ST elevation...: Many believe that an st elevation myocardial infarction means that it is a transmural infarct (involving the whole thickness of the myocardium). Some people refer to nstemi (non st elevation myocardial infarction) as non-transmural infarct (not involving the whole thickness of the myocardium). These definitions are somewhat debatable but thought you may be interested.
