What to do for stomach cramps when the food is associated with salmonella?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hot water bottle: Can lessen the cramps associated with bacterial diarrhea. It is not a good idea to use Lomotil (diphenoxylat and atropine) or other drugs to slow down the diarrhea which can make the disease worse.
