Depends...: Q (query) fever is a zoonotic (acquired from animals and here especially livestock) most commonly from aerosols related to birthing. Airborne spread may occur over several miles from a farm. Initial symptoms of this rickettsial disease are fever, muscle aches, severe headache and cough. Pneumonia and hepatitis may occur. Untreated some people can get endocarditis, an infection of the heart.
