I had an egd, and was intubated friday. today (monday) i'm still coughing up phlegm, and i have a fever of 99.5. is this anything i should worry about?

EGD: Really question is why you were incubated. Generally egd performed with conscious or deeep sedation(not incubated but sedated). Occasionally anesthesiologist will incubate before procedure prophylacticaly if one is high risk for aspiration or airway hard to control. If you we're intubatted during procedure then something went wrong. Cough and low grade fever is concerning for infection( aspiratio.
