Simple surgery: The infant is placed on a restraint that holds the arms & legs.The penis is exposed & injected with a local anesthetic.Antiseptic is applied to the penis.A sterile drape is placed. Using clamps & scissors, the foreskin in opened on top & pealed back exposing the glans.A clamp is placed to protect the glans & provide a safe point to cut back the foreskin.Foreskin is removed & the procedure completed.
