Easy to clean!: After the circumcision most OB doctors will wrap gauze lightly around the penis. During the next week, keep that clean. You may put some neosporin or other antibacterial ointment on the gauze to keep it clean. Obviously changing the diaper frequently will be helpful. If is very rare for this area to get infected. If you see yellow pus or swelling, you should see your pediatrician!

Soap and water...: You actually don't need to do much. If it is visibly dirty from poop getting up on the area after a dirty diaper, rinse with soapy water and pat dry (don't rub). Apply any dressing if you were instructed to do so by the doctor who did the circumcision. That's it. Don't need to do much of anything else until it's healed. Then your pediatrician or family doc should instruct you on proper care!

Depends: This depends on the technique used & date of circ. The plastic ring procedure just needs an occasional rinse with soapy warm water until the ring falls off.It will look crusty & accumulate dried serum, that's normal. The device circs often have gause the first day to soak up any blood & Vaseline as a barrier from diaper rubbing.Rinse with soapy water/Vaseline for a week/then stop. It's healed
