What is most common cause of hoarseness in someone my age? how likely is throat cancer the cause?

Infection and other: Throat infection and other irritation i.e. Smoking , reflux disease- are the most common causes of hoarseness for someone in your age. Although, oral cancer is more and more commonly found at younger age- 30's- but it is still not very common at your age compared to the infection and other irritation.
