Probably: If temporary and does not recur, double vision in one eye is usually due to a tear film issue that is corrected with blinking or artificial tears. If only one eye but more constant, then could be astigmatism, cataract, epiretinal membrane, or some other monocular cause.

It can be OK: Double vision in one eye is usually caused by something partially blocking the eye. Most commonly, this is caused by cataracts. It can also be caused by dry eyes. If you blink and the double vision disappears, then dry eyes are the culprit. If not, see an eye doctor.
