Changes all the time: Medicare changes so much that they used to send us pages and pages of updates every month. Now this information is availible on-line. I get an e-mail update from medicare almost every week with various changes to our specialty. Both major and minor changes happen so often that now we expect them. If you have a specific change in mind, post that question as well!

Hospitals win: ACO's are a great concept, but the only winners so far appear to be the hospitals and those that profit from their ownership and operations. Is anybody surprised that those with the most $$$ seem to come out on top in these schemes? Hospital lobby began this scheme long before Obama. Massive shifts in payments towards hospitals and away from ambulatory physicians and the care we provide.
