Yes but...: Yes - if the doctor is a medicare participating provider. If not, you can still see the doctor but you will have to submit the claim to medicare - the doctor then is not bound by medicare's fee schedule (set prices). This is becoming more common in a lot of places as the U.S. Congress keeps decreasing the reimbursement rate to doctors relative to inflation.
