Yes, you should: Even though you are not sick at this time , you still should establish with a doctor now if you think you find a great doctor now. Some of us do not take medicare pts but if pt is already our pts and turn 65, we will continue to see those pts.

Doc decides yearly: Doctors have an opportunity each year to determine medicare participation. However, with the way congress is cutting mc funds, it might be likely that docs may stop taking new mc patient. So it could be smart to get established with one of those good doctors now!
