Moms weight is up and down one week she gained 3-4 a day then last night she lost 9 lbs. is this normal for a pt who has chf, diabetic, copd and pulmonary hypertension? how do u know if this is end stage?

Concerning: Watch for fluid intake, salt intake on a daily basis. Use the same scale and at the same time of the day. Gaining weight could mean she is retaining fluid and will need to talk to her doc.
