A member asked:

Is it safe to share food and drinks with someone who uses smokeless tobacco?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends: You have nothing to fear regarding the slight exposure to smokeless tobacco in the saliva on the food or beverage lid/can/straw. However, if germs are lurking, it doesn't prevent those from causing harm (colds, viruses, etc).
