Stria: Stria or stretch marks are linear streaks which occur when the skin is stretched too quickly. The outer layer of the skin remains intact, the middle layer of the skin is pulled apart with strands of bridging collagen. The early appearance of stria is pink/purple. The coloration fades with time, but the thin cracks in the skin remain. V-beam laser is effective to help fade the pink coloration.
