I get pvcs on a daily basis (diagnosed). lately, i get at least a couple hundred a day. anxiety definitely makes them worse. im supposed to get my second moderna shot and i am scared. is it safe with pvcs? will it cause more?

These are two separate issues. Concerning the PVC's, it's important to see a doctor who can determine the underlying cause of the PVC's. Common causes include hypertension, heart failure, valvular heart disease, viral illness and others. Concerning the second Moderna shot, it's important to be immunized and side-effects of the shot are usually quite mild. The risk of COVID is significant!

Fully agree with Dr Zacks, as the Moderna vaccine has absolutely nothing to do with your PVC's. The second jab would be highly unlikely to exacerbate any pre-existing arrhythmias. Urge you to complete your vaccinations, but work closely with cardiology to solve your PVC issues.
