See MD for the pain: More often it would be the other way around. The stasis of rest could possibly slow the gut so any lack of perfusion would be manifest - lack of blood flow can prompt ischemia and therefore pain. Many who are anxious have difficulty sleeping and not infrequently have abdominal camping, bloating, flatulence, or diarrhea. Tend the abdominal pain first and see where the sleep relief goes.
