Likely: The increase in blood supply which occurs during pregnancy often causes the surface covering of the cervix to be "friable, " or easily disturbed, by a pap smear or during intercourse. Bright red bleeding due to the is usually minor, observed with wiping. If the bleeding is more intense, or lasts longer than you're comfortable, see a doctor.
