Complex history: Multivessel disease and low ef CABG is the procedure of choice. If refused and the vessels are amenable, drug eluting stents would be placed. Hopefully with revascularization the function would be improved. If after 3 mos the ef is still 35% or less you may be a aicd candidate. Medications used to treat pts like you: statins to lower LDL to 75, ace inhibitors, coreg, aldactone, (spironolactone) etc. 2 gram na diet.
