Tough question!: Check w/your family physician to be sure your thyroid is normal. Then get referral to nutritionist to review your eating habits. Consider referral to physical therapist to help get started w/exercise regimen if you don't already. Every little bit helps. Shoot to burn off 500 more calories each day than you eat. After 7 days, that'll be 3, 500 calories or 1 pound less. Start slowly & keep trying.

Agree with Dr. L: With metabolism slows down and intake that kept your weight stable will cause weight gain now. You need to exercise more and reduce your intake . Neither is easy.
