A member asked:

Is clams is good food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The good vs bad: Good: clams/mollusks are very low in saturated fat. They are also a good source of magnesium and manganese, and a very good source of vitamin b12, phosphorus, potassium, copper and selenium. The bad: this food is very high in sodium (salt) and so if u have hypertension and/or congestive heart failure, be careful. I am going to have some tomorrow--yum yum. Eat well, marisenriq72..Good luck.
