can a pregnant women eat clam chowder?

Dr. Pavel Conovalciuc

Why not: I don't see why she cannot. All she eats needs to be of good quality and cooked well, but clam chowder is not a contraindication unless she has allergy to any component of it.

I would be careful: the clams must be completely cooked but to be safe I would not risk it till after delivery.
