Dehydration?: After someone has been sick, especially for a week, their body is out of balance. Being dehydrated can contribute to a sour taste. Also sometimes probiotics are needed to help. Get rest, avoid alcohol and caffeine ...And allow your body to heal. One should get evaluated if symptoms persist.

Problem with airways: after the flu can cause a sour taste in the mouth. It's very common and usually clears up on its own within a week or two.
