Normal things: Might be swelling, difficulty opening your mouth and pain. These are temporary and should last a few days.

Pain, swelling: The possible complications after an extraction can include but not limited to swelling, pain, bleeding, jaw stiffness , rarely paresthesia ( numbness), drowsiness . However following you doctors post extraction instructions will certainly minimize or prevent these possible complications.

Follow instructions: Unfortunately most oral surgery is accompanied by some degree of discomfort and pain. Unnecessary pain and the complications of infection, bleeding and swelling can be minimized if the instructions are followed carefully.
