Keep it clean: The only problem with a humidifier is excess humidity which can then lead to growth of molds and fungus. Molds will spontaneously grow if the humidity surpasses 65%. Be on the lookout for any mold growth and if present clean carefully with a nontoxic (citrus based) cleanser.
