What causes continued pain the elbow and forearm aside from an injury?

Arthritis, nerve inj: Contimued pain in the arm may be related to any of the three nerves entering the arm. I t may also be related to arthritis, tendonitis, or muscle problems. A thorough evaluation including in depth physical examination and perhaps nerve testing may be needed.
