How does a nose job feel under sedation?

You don't feel it!: If the sedation is performed properly, you are asleep when the numbing injections are performed. Then, you should be completely numb throughout the entire procedure.

Ideally, it doesn't: With properly done IV sedation (twilight anesthesia) , you should not feel it or remember much at all. That being said, I do all my rhinoplasty surgeries under general anesthesia. Make sure your surgeon and anesthesia team are well versed in IV sedation and you should have a good experience.

Depends: Strong sedation can be very effective. Light sedation is not. It should be done in an accredited surgery center or hospital for your safety.

Rhinoplasty: Local anaesthesia is injected into the nose to block pain receptors there. The sedation should make you feel cLm and comfortable during the procedure. Be sure to have your nose evaluated by a board certified facial plastic surgeon.
