A member asked:

My leg hurts and it looks a little bigger than my other leg. could i have a blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Deep venouthrombosis: Very commonly, DVT (deep venous thrombosis) presents with one lower extremity swelling moreso then the other. Sometimes, patients have pain and no swelling. I have also seen patients present with a redness on the affected leg. To answer your question, yes, it is possible you could have a blood clot in the leg with those symptoms. It needs to be checked out.
