Could be: Ovary, ureteral stone, hernia, diverticular disease, or constipation. Examination and some testing will correctly make the diagnosis. Early diagnosis of any of these problems is best. Don't delay. Rarely it can be tumor as well.

No: The most common cause of left lower quadrant pain in a 45 year old woman is intestinal related. Either constipation or diverticulitis would be more common. Ovarian pain is commonly pelvic. Regardless, if experiencing pain lasting longer than a few hours, it is necessary to see your physician for further evaluation.
