A member asked:

Is walking barefoot good for us?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: When we are young, the spread of the bare foot helps us balance and stimulate reflexes. When we are grown we need protection of the feet on many surfaces. Perfectly balanced feet and arches allow some people to enjoy walking and running barefoot. I don't recomend it for those with problems or nerve loss such as with obesity or diabetes.
