Esophagitis: Taking antiacids or medications otc or rx that reduce stomach acid. Don't wear tight garments, elevate the head of the bed on 4" blocks, don't eat after 7pm, reuce spices, coffee, alcohol or irritants. Chew your food properly. Lastly, if it persists, see a GI doctor.
