Do you mean an antipsychotic medication? Please let us know the name. A pill stuck in the esophagus sometimes causes chemical esophagitis.

Unlikely. Although if the pill gets stuck in the esophagus, because you did not take it with enough liquid to get it into the stomach or you took it late at night before you laid down for bed it might cause burning in the esophagus which is something we call "pill esophagitis."
