Warrants med eval: Hello. I recommend prompt medical evaluation. White stool is not normal. There are a number of possible causes such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, or obstruction of a bile duct (i.e., gallstone or a mass). Light colored stool can be related to lack of bile salts.
