Intersting question?: Some cough because they smell a ciggarate, or somke thier 1st one. Advanced cases of smoker’s cough mean people can cough for a long time after waking to clear this phlegm. Smoker’s cough indicates you have damaged cilia, which aside from smoking can create other health hazards.

Varies....: There are many factors that determine this so it is difficult to say. The sooner you stop smoking, the less likely you are to develop sequelae like COPD and malignancy. The longer you smoke, the more likely you are to develop these sequelae. There is no amount of smoking that is safe! any smoking puts your health at risk. Quit today!
