Sepsis: Signs and symptoms of sepsis may include fever, chills, lethargy, altered mental status abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, trouble breathing, fast heart rate, low blood pressure, low urine output, & altered perfusion. Lab abnormalities may include elevated white blood cell count, positive blood cultures, elevated markers of inflammation, elevated serum lactate, and metabolic acidosis, to name some.
