Criteria...: There are specific criteria for lung transplant. If you meet the criteria, you would then be deemed eligible. You would need to be evaluated by a transplant center to see if you qualify. Since organs are not readily available, the criteria are quite strict, including smoking cessation. See your doctor to discuss this and to proceed with referral, if it is thought that you qualify.
