Aspirin: The cheap , effective antiplatelet medication for clogged arteries especially for heart's blood vessels . Plavix (clopidogrel), (clopidogrel) Aggrenox -a combination of Aspirin and persantin, are not otc and not needed if Aspirin itself has been found to be effectiv and affordable. Plavix (clopidogrel) is after stent placements in the coronary vessels and carotid vessel surgeries for a certain period , not otc. Statins-addl help, not otc.
