As with any medical problem, the first thing is to get checked out by a doctor to make sure there isn't a physical condition which could explain the symptoms. Catatonic panic: Not sure if that means frozen with fear or catatonic with periods of agitation. Either way, needs evaluation by a psychiatrist to find cause.
