Depends: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) xr is intended for the treatment of adhd; in individuals with that disorder, it can improve concentration and sustained attention and decrease impulsivity and overall activity level. Main se are decreased appetite and delayed sleep. In adults without adhd, it can cause a "high" especially at high doses and if snorted or injected; it also is used to stay awake to cram for a test.
