A member asked:

Should i be concerned about a "pins and needles" feeling in my hands during pregnancy?

No: This is likely to be carpal tunnel syndrome, which is common in pregnancy. If it comes on in pregnancy, it will almost certainly resolve after the swelling of pregnancy resolves. Check with your doctor.

No: Sounds like carpel tunnel symptoms. Wear wrist guards at night. Minimize repetitive hand motions such as typing, using a keyboard, sewing, etc.

No: Carpal tunnel syndrome is very common due to the swelling of the hands during pregnancy. The nerve compression is what gives you that feeling. It's annoying but will resolve sometime after the baby is born. Severe numbness or loss of function may indicate that the nerves are suffering damage and may require "release" which is a surgical procedure.
