Continue to Train: If hand is in cast, modify exercises to continue strength training in biceps, triceps, forearm mm. Some studies suggest training contralateral side will help preserve strength in injured mm. Some injuries allow for switch to high repetition (50-100) lifts w/ much lighter weights. Though not likely to build strength, can be effective method of preserving strength and muscle size.
