Middle ear pain: I am sure you mean middle ear pain. How do you know that? Could it be an impacted molar referring pain to the ear. If, somehow, you know that it is a middle ear infection, then it is very reasonable to take the child to the er. Rarely middle ear infections can give rise to serious, even life threatening complications. Get a diagnosis.
