I have severe pains in my left eye 1 to 2 times a months and so bad make me feel like vomiting.. i take a maxalt 10mg and usually 3 - 4 hr later its gon..thank god for this tiny pill! but i want to know why i have been having them only in the last 2 yrs

Eye pain: Your description is most consistent with migraine disease which would be treated with maxalt (rizatriptan). Your symptoms could also be related to other serious issues such as angle closure glaucoma so i would go see an eye doctor for further evaluation. If these are migraines, i would recommend seeing a regular doctor to consider a preventative medication.
