Many things: Platelets need to be checked. Could be related to medications. I would suggest seeing your doctor. Also depends on where the bruise is. Hope this helps.

Unlikely: Jumping to leukemia from a couple of bruises is probably overreacting. By the way, anemia, which is a lack of sufficient red blood cells, has nothing to do with bruising. Easy bruising is usually a consequence of decreased platelets, coagulation disorders, or increased vessel fragility. When you got your iron checked, did they also do a cbc? That would show abnormalities if you had leukemia.
