It depends: Isolated sphenoid sinusitis is uncommon but may cause symptoms like any other sinus condition- congestion, pain/ pressure, post nasal drainage, fatigue, etc. If symptomatic, antibiotics or surgically draining the sinus may be appropriate. If not symptomatic, it may just be a mucus retention cyst (benign glob of snot!)-requires no treatment. Depending on its appearance, repeat a ct at some point.
