LPR: Laryngeal-pharyngeal reflux is a common disorder in which there is a reflux of gastric acid into the upper esophagus. The classical triad of symptoms are 1.) burning sensation in the throat, 2.) cough and 3.) voice changes. If you eat late at night, this is common. If not, see a gastro-enterologist for a diagnosis. If this is a rare event, do not worry.
