Infection: It sounds like you have an upper respiratory tract infection of some sort. The only way to be properly diagnosed is to be seen in person. You may have a virus which is best treated supportively with over the counter cold medicine. It is possible you have a bacterial infection for which you need antibiotics. Sore throat: Try a cool mist humidifier at your bedside along with nasal saline drops three times a day in your nose. Also warm drinks and gargle with warm salt water will help your sore throat. If symptoms persist for more than 3-4 days you may need to see your healthcare provider .
