Prolactinoma: The pituitary tumor may cause your cycles and ovulation to be irregular. Therefore, the endometrial lining isn't shed in a normal pattern. Having sex can cause the uterus to contract and shed some of the lining. When your prolactin levels return to normal and your cycles are normal again, this should chance.
