Espiride antipsychot: Espiride is an antipsychotic. It is used mainly to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. It can cause increased lactation by disrupting pituitary prolactin production. It is probably unsafe for a newborn. It can cause drowsiness and flat affect in those without schizophrenia. Your doctor is using an untoward effect to stimulate your milk production. Not something that is done in the us.
